Western Colorado holds many treasures and its outstanding beauty has drawn people like you here to visit and many decide to make it their home. People who have lived here all their lives and then leave, or people who come here from other parts of the county to live often say that we live in a very “protected” environment. We don’t have the high humidity, severe heat or cold, or any of the other severe weather elements that so often destroy homes and families. We also continue to live by the “old school” where a hand shake and a person’s word is all you need.
